Quotations

Morpheus “There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path” Talking and doing are 2 different things.

Morpheus “You have to let it all go, Neo. Fear, doubt, and disbelief. Free your mind.” Matrix – In time, believing in yourself and knowing yourself is what it’s all about, your Wing Chun won’t work unless you believe in it.

Lucilla “The softest touch, commands the greatest obedience.” Gladiator – Muscle vs. muscle will always lead to defeat for the smaller person.

Sam “I never walk into a place I don’t know how to walk out of.” Ronin – Wing Chun is common sense, just coz we can defend ourselves doesn’t mean we put ourselves in bad situations.

Qui- Gon Jinn “Remember, concentrate on the moment feel, don’t think, use your instinct…” Episode I – What you do in the school is different from the street, do what’s natural when the time comes.

Creasy “Forgiveness is between them and God. It's my job to arrange the meeting. ”Man on FireOnce the decision to fight is made, it’s your job to arrange the meeting.

Rayburn “A bullet always tells the truth.” Man on Fire – You can learn allot about a person through his punch.

[Using the Force, Yoda effortlessly frees the X-Wing from the bog]
Luke, “I don't, I don't believe it.”
Yoda, “That is why you fail. Empire Strikes Back.”
If you think your going to get hit, you will get hit.  You control your own focus.  If you believe you can’t do it, you definitely can’t.

Yoda, “Yes, a Jedi's strength flows from the Force. But beware of the dark side. Anger, fear, aggression; the dark side of the Force are they. Easily they flow, quick to join you in a fight. If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will, as it did Obi-Wan's apprentice. “
Luke“Vader... Is the dark side stronger?”
Yoda “No, no, no. Quicker, easier, more seductive.”
Luke “But how am I to know the good side from the bad?”
Yoda “You will know... when you are calm, at peace, passive. A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.” Empire Strikes Back
– This deals with the when in fighting principle.  Be in control of your feelings before and during a fight.  If you allow anger, fear, and aggression to take over you’ll use wing chun when it’s not necessary.
