Wing chun skill doesn’t give you the right to fight, but the ability to choose if you should fight. Just because you can, doesn’t always mean you should.

Probably the biggest blunder in history, Ken Harnishes greed and his lust for power, made him think that if he switched teachers from Sifu to Master Ho, he would achieve a higher level. In reality, his blunder was our greatest reward, oh if he could turn back time.

Pai Mei: It's the wood that should fear your hand, not the other way around. No wonder you can't do it, you acquiesce to defeat before you even begin.
Learning to explode your punch will take time and practice. But when you do, you’ll be able to explode it at any distance and at any time.

Wing Chun develops your fighting ability. Just because you can fight doesn’t mean that you should. There are times when you use the skill of Wing Chun to avoid the fight altogether.

You cannot hope to join the wing chun we teach here with other arts or other lines of wing chun. To try to join them together would be madness. The accent up the mountain of wing chun is long journey. Why would you want to climb part way and head down only to start the assent up another mountain. The higher you go the better the view is.

You are the wielder of the skill of wing chun! When using the skill of wing chun no enemy hands shall pass through your guard!

It’s safer for the wing chun person to move in and not allowing the enemy to fire their attacks. The more chances you give your enemy to hit you, the better chance he will.

This is the attitude you must have for street survival. If you don’t, you’ll be in a world of hurt.

When the time comes that you have to use your skill in the defense of yourself or another, do not worry about the outcome or the consequences. Fight to survive the situation.

Wing chun can adjust to any fighter that comes after us. They can do whatever they want, because we know what we want to do.

If you were to predict the outcome of genuine wing chun, your enemy would be lucky to be feeling pain.

Don’t be intimidated by fancy kicks, punches, or the size or your enemy. Trust in your skill and you will overcome.

Every time you deliver a punch, palm, elbow or any other strike in wing chun, they should be kissing the express train.

Wing chun is an art that will test you, and test you, and test you until you don’t think you can take it anymore. It’s the perseverance and proper development that separates the skilled and the unskilled.
