Alain

Gum saus - elbow didn't move slightly back, and gum's weren't traveling perfectly straight down, had an angle to it
Hau Jeong - okay
Chin Jeong - elbows to far off to the side in order for it to be elbow lead, and hands held above the belly, too high

Lan sau - no angle in the lan sau, structurally weak, not perfectly aligned with fingers over elbow, elbows to far out when you raised to lan sau
Fun sau - to Tight with the fun sau motion, you can see the tension in your shoulders, elbows need to lead more
lan sau - to tight on the way back, fingers not over elbows, and no angle for the lan sau structure
lop sau - should only be a finger tip apart between both hands, elbows not sunk enough
tan sau - wrist moved the tan sau's instead of the elbows rotating the wrist
jut sau - too much wrist snap on the jut sau causing too much angle on the jut, should be flatter, elbows to far out to the side
bue sau - should be eye level, it wasn't
han jut - han jut sau motion should be one smooth motion and not 2 choppy motions combined, han needs to sink below the shoulder area first before you do the jut
double punch - hands should be independent from one another and not touch at all
han - okay
ding - okay

kow - to far out when doing the kow sau motion, follow the same path of the pak sau, but snap the wrist back to do it correctly, you can see it more visibly with the right hand
outside jut - a little more angle on the wrist with the outside jut
chang jeong -
tan -
gan - fingers should be pointing straight down and not off to the side
tan - to far out, elbow should be closer to the body, outstretched tan is a tight tan
heun - over rotation with the heun sau, rotate the wrist till fingers are facing 6 o'clock, and don't go beyond this rotation
chang dai jeong - right side chan was off center

bong - both bong sau's too low, need to have elbow at the highest point
tan - mistake with both tan sau motion, seems almost as if the wrist goes down after doing the tan, it should drill forward, and the tan is to outstretched
pau - okay
tuit sau - 2 things, wrist should run across the bridge, not the finger tips, make sure when you drill your tuit sau you go into the center and not off it
chain punches - okay, just a pinch more flow

Overall - You've got a smooth transition from one motion to the next, but its definitely tighter when doing your form then when I see you do your normal roll and your punches.  I believe your just one notch from fully saying, I know this form like I know my birthday.  You need to be more anal at this level of placement, in everything that you do in the form.  Being slightly off at yellow level can't be an excuse.  Overall its minor fixes and more awareness, and just relax and do the form as you know you can.

Phil

Gum saus -  okay
Hau Jeong - not bad, seemed more of hand, then elbow push, and only 1 to 2 inch push should be done
Chin Jeong - not bad, more focus on the elbow push,
Lan sau - right height no angle in the lan
Fun sau - a little tight, when doing this, focus more one the hands releasing the motion
lan sau - no angle, and fingers didn't cover over the elbows
lop sau - more whip motion
tan sau - too forced in with the elbow only a slight amount should rotate
jut sau - not bad
bue sau - not bad
han jut - need to go below the shoulder to elbow level and then jut sau
double punch - okay
han - a little more shoulder width apart
ding - a little more forward motion and a little more wrist snap to lead the ding sau

kow - needs more concentration on the wrist snap, otherwise your just doing the pak sau motion
outside jut - still slightly moved the elbow
chang jeong - just slightly off the 45 degree area where you should be
tan - one full smooth motion to do this
gan - more focus on the point, seemed more like a pop
tan -okay
heun - not bad, but don't move the elbow back when doing the huen sau motion
chang dai jeong - too low, your nailing someone in the groin, and not the ribs, and stay square, and right side is off the center target

bong - penthouse high elbow
tan -penthouse high tan sau, coz your bong is too high to begin it, and overall tan sau doesn't do a good drilling motion
pau - also to high should be parallel to the ground
tuit sau - more focus on the placement before shooting out the tuit sau motion
chain punches - okay

Overall - Okay, maybe one or two less shots every week, and you can have a damn good looking SLT.  Seriously you can see that if you really wanted to you could have the best looking form of the entire group, but you have to really focus on the placement of things.  You know the form, but its not ingrained in your hard drive, so make it so.  Once you break that step, then you focus, like I yelled at Alain, at putting everything where it should be.  Your form should look as good as your punch, and it should look that good.

Roland

Gum saus - too much effort and too tight, and off to the side instead of straight down
Hau Jeong - way too much here, since you pushed so hard your hands shot out all the way to the side
Chin Jeong - elbows turned to the outside instead of naturally sunk before doing this motion
Lan sau - no angle, fingers not over elbow and to tight
Fun sau - too much empahsis, to far out
lan sau - same critique as your first lan sau
lop sau - not enough sink, so you don't have the whip motion when doing it
tan sau - not bad
jut sau - before you began this motion your tan sau's rose up then jutted, that's a no no, also a slight wrist snap to the jut sau is needed
bue sau - wrist tight and need to coordinate the elevation of the bue with the elbow push
han jut - bent arms to soon, need to keep the haan straight till you get to the elbow line then just sau
double punch - both middle knuckles should be in the center line
han -don't combine the han and ding, individualize the motions, and you rose again before doing the han
ding - no definite forward motion, just went up, and also needs to end 1finger apart from each other.

kow - not kow sau motion, more of just pak sau
outside jut - moved elbow and wrong placement
chang jeong - wrong angle, not 45 degrees
tan - too high, and right side off the centerline
gan - okay, this was the best thing you did
tan  -  okay motion but not at your center when you brought it back
heun -  don't move the elbow back when doing this
chang dai jeong - stay square when doing this and make sure to hit the center each time you do it

bong - need to walk the centerline and then throw out the motion, your just shooting the elbow out
tan  - the sink is okay, but no drill motion to complete the tan sau
pau - okay, just slightly to high, needs to be parallel
tuit sau - palm should be flat after doing the tuit sau motion
chain punches - not bad, but too tight

Overall - Roland, your old school style, so you need to relax.  You don't  want your form looking like its Hung Guar, just do the motions and stop emphasizing everything that you do.  Your punch is good other then your over efforting it.  Start relaxed and end relaxed when doing it.  You also need to burn this form into the hard drive as well, coz you paused prior to the double punch.  The best thing that you did, was how you opened up your YGKYM, just how you did that nice and easy, do the form the same way.

Ryan

Gum saus - overall motion is okay, the placement of the where you hands should be in the beginning good have more focus on it
Hau Jeong - make sure this is elbow lead and not grab, and only 1 to 2 inch motion only.
Chin Jeong - hand placement to high, and when you release the motion to much foward and not enough going further down
Lan sau - no angle, fingers over elbow
Fun sau - pretty good, just a little to far back to create shoulder tightness
lan sau - no angle, fingers over elbow, the hug could be smoother and more relaxed
lop sau - okay
tan sau - make sure when elbows rotate slight in the wrist don't go out, maintain finger apart for the hands
jut sau - don't rise to do the just, from the tan positioning just do it
bue sau - forgot to do this
han jut - forgot to do this
double punch - too high, top hand should be parallel to the ground and shoulder height only
han - a little beyond your shoulder area, but the motion was right
ding - good forward motion, just a little to high

kow - a little more snap from the wrist coming back, otherwise it looks just like pak sau
outside jut - dont' move the elbow, keep it in place and rotate the elbow to get the snap
chang jeong - after you done with the hit, just rotate and close, no need to have it flat, then rotate like it was done in the first section
tan - just a little off the center, be more aware of where to end the motion
gan  -  okay
tan - correct motion but went too high up
heun -correct motion but when you do it, your shoulder rises up on both sides.
chang dai jeong - make sure you don't stretch yourself to do this and maintain your squareness.

bong - need to do the full initiating motion of bong, just snapping it up and doing only the end half of the motion
tan - more sink needed for tan and proper drill and placement
pau - too high
tuit sau - placement of the top hand is beyond the elbow position, need to make it parallel to the ground, dont' cheat to get to the last chain punch right away, make sure you complete all 3 tuit sau motions
chain punches

Overall: Focus, one where you eyes are going.  They are all over the place, you should be looking straight ahead.  Also, watch your right hand thumb, its sticking out at times.... bad boy.  Overall you've got nice motions when doing the form and it looks smooth and effortless.  But don't overdue the wing chun man is a lazy art, you need to focus on where your stuff is going and now where it should be.

Damien

Gum saus - not bad, but make sure when you finish the gum sau you hold it still for just that split second
Hau Jeong -okay
Chin Jeong - hands were facing each other, elbows to the outside,
Lan sau - no angle, fingers not over elbow, and held to high
Fun sau - careful your not pointing, but popping the elbow
lan sau - same as above lan sau critique
lop sau - placement is okay, probably need a little more sink in the elbow, but way to tight, need to whip the lop sau's out
tan sau - no elbow rotation inwards
jut sau - good placement just wrist tightness so there was no slight snap when doing the jut
bue sau - need to be finger distance apart,  elbows to far out
han jut - need to go below the shoulder and to the elbow line then initiate the jut sau
double punch - left over right punch, too high
han - okay
ding - too high, shoulder rose, and the motion should be going foward with the wrist snapping up

kow - wrist should snap back when doing the kow sau motion
outside jut - moved elbow for both sides, and angle of outside jut incorrect
chang jeong - not in the center and not held at 45 degree angle for the strike
tan - held too high
gan - motion more of a swing then a point, should be similar to the fun sau motion
tan  - correct scooping motion but too high
heun - over rotation of the huen sau motion
chang dai jeong - right side off the center line

bong  - its not bad, but the end motion is forcing the bong to go forward, instead of downward forward motion
tan - Good drop motion but you need to finish it with a drilling motion as well
pau - careful, your popping your elbows on the pau sau
tuit sau - need to make the moves smoother and make sure at the end that both blades touch each other at the end of the tuit sau motion
chain punches - okay, but need to have a target, all 3 were hitting in different areas

Overall - Damin, its not bad at all how you did the form.  It seems like you actually have it fully memorized, maybe not ingrained, but your definitely close to knowing it like your name.  The main problem I see is the tightness and this all comes in time once you piece the puzzle together and figure out how to release the punch.  So, kill that hurdle first and then you'll get the form looking much better.

Joe

Gum saus - not full extension of the gum sau's, to far back
Hau Jeong - forgot to do
Chin Jeong - forgot to do
Lan sau  -  no angle, finger tips not over elbows, and too high
Fun sau - no defined motion, not fully extended
lan sau - no angle, finger tips not over elbows, not elbow lead
lop sau - no sink in elbows, not allowing for the whip motion, need to go forward more
tan sau - held too high up
jut sau - also held to far up
bue sau - looked okay
han jut - started jut sau motion to soon, need to go below the shoulder to the elbow line then initiate the jut sau
double punch - punch too high
han - need slight wrist tension, fingers were pointed downward
ding - goes to far up, needs to move forward

kow -  okay
outside jut - need to go to the edge of the triangle, by only going a small amount you don't develop the maximum motion of the move
chang jeong -
tan - okay, but to slow
gan  -  wrong placement should be aimed at the toe, not into the centerline
tan  - correct motion but placement too high for both sides
heun - over rotation of the huen sau should stop once fingers hit 6 oclock on the downward move
chang dai jeong - not bad actually, but right hand was off the center line

bong - actually this isn't that bad
tan - need more sync and more finishing of the cutting edge motion
pau - motion is okay, but the angle the palm is held was off
tuit sau - hands not in sync with one another
chain punches - need to make sure you release each motion of it

Overall - Ingrain, ingrain, ingrain this form so you know it.  Forgetting the 1st 2 moves, bad boy.  Once you break that hurdle the 2nd and 3rd section should be done with more release and focus in motion.  Your sorta just doing the move and need to be aware what the move is for.  Piece that together and you can take your form further.

Oscar

Gum saus - need to fully extend gum sau's only half bent
Hau Jeong - too much extension, just a slight push is needed for the hau
Chin Jeong - elbow positioning to far out to be relaxed, hand positioning to high in order to be elbow lead
Lan sau - too high shoulders rose when you did lan sau, no angle in lan
Fun sau - elbow popping when doing fun sau not leading with elbows
lan sau - once again in wrong position to high, no angle
lop sau - no whip for lop and no elbow sink made lop sau placement too high
tan sau - wrong motion to do the double tan
jut sau - too much wrist and went below the belly button for the jut sau, and too much pull back for jut
bue sau - okay, but need to release the power
han jut - bent the han to soon, needed to keep it straight and go below the shoulder before initiating the jut sau
double punch - too high for placement
han - long bridge motion, you should keep arms perfectly bent
ding -  placement above shoulder, too high, also motion just going up not forward

kow - bascially doing pak sau motion and beyond triangle area
outside jut - moved elbow when doing the outside jut, must stay in place to snap it, no need to huen and then chan jeong, just shoot it out
chang jeong - not using the right part of the hand to ht with and not at the right 45 degree angle
tan - going off the center line and not moving forward to the center line
gan -  popping elbow when doing the gan sau
tan - wrong side ways motion, instead of upward motion for tan sau
heun - over rotation of the huen sau.
chang dai jeong - popping elbow on the chan dai jeong and off the centerline, also maintain the straightness of the arm when doing the huen sau motion to close it out

bong - both sides past beyond the centerline creating tightness in the shoulder
tan  - not enough drop and no drilling forward motion
pau - too high, beyond shoulder height, remember  bue sau and chan jeong are the only ones that shots above your shoulders
tuit sau - not bad acutally, but the upper hand that starts the 1st tuit sau should not be angled up but be parallel, otherwise you can't elbow lead, also don't cheat out the last tuit sau motion and have it at punch
chain punches - need to pull back last chain punch motion.  After the last punch, need to lay it out flat, huen sau and then pull it back and close the stance.

Overall - You've got beginners tightness when doing the form.  Make sure you you're like everyone else and get the form memorized.  That's the first hurdle, while your punch has improved once you overcome the stiffness in the wrist and can release the motion, then you'll take the next step in translating that into your form.
