1) What do I need to
bring to class and wear?
All you need to
bring to the first day of class is the receipt of payment for the
class. As for clothing, wear something comfortable that you
can move around in.
2) Is it true that
I'll receive a free self-defense DVD for just taking the
class?
Yes, just for
taking the class you'll receive our 1.5 hour self-defense DVD ($35
value) for FREE! We'll hand it out to all everyone who has
paid for the class. You'll receive it the first day you come
to class. You can view a sample of it here. View

3) What happens if I
miss a class?
If you miss a
class, we normally spend a small section of the class reviewing
what we did the following week. So, even if you miss
the first day of class, there's still time for you to make it up
and sign up.
4) What is your
self-defense based on?
All our
self-defense is based off the Wing Chun Kung Fu system. For
those not familiar with it, that was the original art that Bruce
Lee studied.
5) I've taken
self-defense courses before or other martial arts, why should I
take another one?
I can almost
promise you that whatever you've learned in the pass, is nothing
compared to what we teach. We teach techniques that really
work and are simple but yet effective. And, even if you have
taken a self-defense course in the pass, why not get a tune
up. You can't learn self-defense once and never practice
again and hope it'll work for you when the time comes.
6) What's the
maximum number of people you can have for the class?
The maximum
number we can have is 25. However, we'll average normally 8
- 14 people.
7) If I'm interested
in learning more how do I go about doing so?
Our Hamlin Park
District located at 3035 N. Hoyne, is a mere 5 minutes away from
the Ray Meyer Center. Our main classes go at a faster rate
and more information can be learned in a single session. All
are welcome to observe and participate in 1 class and see if its
for them. You can see our schedule here.
